an umbrella term describing the inability to distinguish between a subjective experience and an objective relity - lack of insight

A

schizophrenia
bipolar
unipolar depression
organic conditions eg dementia, delerium, brain injury and stroke
substance abuse: acute intoxication, withdrawal, delirium tremens
