Collective Unconscious

Id
Freudian: unconscious part of the mind that creates instinctual impulses and primitive needs.
Operant Conditioning
The operator acts independently and desirable behaviors are reinforced.
Phenomenology
Method of inquiry that focuses on our own conscious thought processes.
Superego
Freudian theory: division of the unconscious that is formed from the internalization of societal moral standards - restrains the ego.
Behaviorism
Focuses entirely on observable behaviors. Does not assume the existence of a mind outside of those behaviors.
