SSRI of choice in children and adolescents
Fluoxetine
Patients ≤ 25 years who have been started on an SSRI should be reviewed after:
1 week, increased risk of suicidal ideation, more in younger patients
Most often used first line for rapid tranquillization in acutely disturbed behaviour, uknown cardiac status or antipsychotic history
Oral lorazepam

NSAIDs, aspirin, heparin, warfarin, tryptans, MAOIs
Side effects of mirtazapine
Sedation (paradoxically more at lower doses 15 mg), increased appetite
First-line therapy for PTSD
