Would not implement land redistribution until after the war.

As the PG continued the war.
What does the term Dual Authority refer to?
The PG and Petrograd Soviet ruling together.

What was the June Offensive?
Unsuccessful military operation in WW1, planned by Kerensky.
What did the June Offensive show about the PG?
Demonstrated the extent of the Provisional Government’s failure to interpret and respond adequately to popular revolutionary sentiment.
What were the July Days?
Several days of uncontrolled rioting on the streets.
How are the June Offensive and July Days linked?
July days were sparked by the failure of the June Offensive.
How did events turn more violent on the 4th July?
20,000 armed sailors from the Kronstadt naval base arrived in Petrograd.
What do some theorise was the cause of the July Days?
The Bolsheviks, seen as an early attempt by them to take power.
How did the July Days end?
Lacking leadership and having no clear purpose.

April 1917.
