  • C: CNS depression
  • C: circulatory collapse
  • C: children
  • H: hypersensitivity
  • P: pregnancy
Precautions:

# A: patients affected by alcohol or antidepressants

> drowsiness
> blurred vision
> hypotension
> sinus tachycardia
> skin rash
> extrapyramidal reasons (usually dystonic type - continual spasms & muscle contractions)

A

An anti-emetic which acts on several central nervous system transmission systems, used in:

  • general, undifferentiated nausea and vomiting
  • motion sickness in patients >21 years
  • headache of any severity, irrespective of nausea and vomiting

AD: 12.5mg in 1ml IM once only
