CPAP - Contraindications
A
1) ineffective:
* cardiac / respiratory arrest
* mask intolerance / patient agitation
* nil improvement after 1/60 of treatment
2) vital signs:
* HR <50 or BP <90
* GCS < 13
* decreasing SpO2
3) active risk to the patient:
* loss of airway control
* copious secretions / active vomiting
* at paramedic discretion where concerned about clinical deterioration
