Actions

A

An anticholinergic bronchodilator and adjunct to the management of severe respiratory distress with bronchospasm. It allows for bronchodilation by inhibiting cholinergic bronchomotor tone (ie it blocks the vagal reflexes which mediate bronchoconstriction)
