It is made up of visible, natural features such as bodies of water, mountains flat lands called plains, deserts and soils

Climate, soils, relief/height/slope, human activity, sea coasts

Primary economic activities
Those in which people get natural resources from the land or sea EG farming
secondary economic activities
Those in which people process or manufacture products e.g. car manufacturing
tertiary economic activities
Those that provide useful services for people e.g. driving taxis
What is Farming what is pastoral farming what is arable farming what is mixed farming what is Forestry
Farming is the raising of livestock and the growing of crops.
Pastoral farming is the farming of animal e.g dairy farming.
arable farming is growing crops in fields.
Mixed farming has elements of both pastoral and arable farming.
Forestry the planting management and maintenance of trees
Factors to determine if land is used for forming a Forestry
Some of the factors that determine if the land is used for farming and forestry include,
how fertile the soil is,
what the relief is like and,
what the climate is like.
Influencing factors of the physical landscape fishing
Like forestry fishing occurs in Counties with Where the soil is too poor for profitable farming to occur.
People in these areas needed to make a living and cannot rely on Farming to do so historically.
Another influencing factor is Ireland’s coastline there fishing ports located in areas with good soil and easier access to the sea.
