4) Lovell escaped and Humphrey was executed. Thomas was pardoned.

What foreign support did warbeck have?

A

1) Margaret of Burgundy, who believed that warbeck was her nephew back from the dead. Maximilian, HRE.
2) King James IV who believed his claim was genuine and agreed to invade England in 1497. However, warbeck didn’t like how the scots invaded and refused to carry on with them.
3) Charles VIII of France recognised Warbeck’s claim and decided to welcome him in court. He used warbeck as a means to embarrass Henry to annex Brittany.
