He was believed to have higher spiritual powers so he could treat people spiritually but also gave natural remedies like herbs
Why was communication limited in prehistoric times?
Because ‘prehistoric’ means before writing was invented so they could not record their ideas about medicine

From the Aborigines in Australia and by the records Egyptians and Greeks wrote about them

They used basic stone tools, used mud and sticks to set broken bones, and trephining

Drilling a hole into a persons skull to release an evil spirit or treat a headache or epilepsy

Evil spirits

They were hunter gatherer so they were very active and got a lot of exercise
