A

Most common exam in occupational medicine, private employer requested, based on companies policies and procedures and mandated by gov entity (ex - DOT) with outcome restricted to 2 determinations including whether an individual “can perform essential job functions with or without accommodation” and “whether the individual represents a direct threat to themselves or others”

A

Modification or adjustment to a job, an employment practice, or work environment that enables an individual with disability to enjoy equal employment opportunity including but not limited to modifying work schedules, changing accessibility of work stations, providing readers or interpreters, etc. Somewhat of a grey area but generally illegal to not employ an individual based on their accommodation needs, managers are informed of need for accommodations but NOT entitled to diagnosis
