- Use in brachycephalic or other high risk cases
- Use of oxygen mask
- Keep patient calm during administration
- Fow rate of 3 L/min for 3-5 minutes

- Be aware of possible nausea
- Significant “pollution” of environment
- 3 % Iso at 3 L/min for 3 Minutes

Provide assisted ventilation every 2-3 minutes
* prevents hypercapnea
Provide a deep breath every 5-10 minutes
* prevent hypostatic congestion and atelectasis
