the state should not interfere with individual autonomy unless someone else is being harmed

people are yielded equal opportunities and wealth is redistributed partially by progressive taxation by state action on salaries or company profits

What is utilitarianism?
- argument that ethical validity of an action is based on the outcome of the action
- the ethically correct choice is the one that produces the most happiness and least unhappiness for the largest amount of people.
What is the issue with utilitarianism?
cannot justify the more economically costly areas of healthcare
What is distributive justice?
actively seeking and promoting equality
eg: wealth distribution/unconditional basic income
What is the concept driving social justice?
everyone in society deserves a chance
What is a stakeholder?
an organisation/individual with interest
What is a partner?
a subgroup of stakeholders who are central to the success of an aim
What is a coalition?
groups of stakeholders working together for a shared goal
