-mid protein (decrease with age)

What diet do layers have?
-lowest protein (decrease with age)
- Ca 0.9% –> increase 4% (for body management and eggs)
What diet do turkeys have?
-highest protein
-Ca starts at 1.2% and then declines
How many grams of calcium do laying hens need every day?
4g –> 2g for function and 2g for egg production
