From fascia above pectoralis major and clavicle to lateral neck and onto mandible
Facial nerve
Sternocleidomastoid SCM
Spinal accessory nerve
Trapezius
Spinal accessory nerve, cervical plexus C3,4
Floor of posterior triangle
Omohyoid- depresses hyoid bone
Splenius capitis- extends the neck, rotate dorsal rami
Levator scapulae
Transverse process of atlas and axis, 3rd and 4th cervical vertebrae to medial scapular border between superior angle and medial end of scapular spine
Help control scapular position, elevate shoulder, shoulder fixed can laterally flex neck to the same side
C3,4,5 via dorsal scapular nerve
Scalenes
From transverse process of C3-6 anterior, C2-7 middle, C4-6 Posterior
To rib 1
Flexes neck. Tilts head to same side and elevates upper ribs
