Individual is physically guided through the requested activity contingent on the occurrence of the PB.

Used when PB occurs in a compliance situation (person is instructed/asked to engage in activity).

Describe the physical restraint procedure. Example. Provide example of response blocking.

A

Positive punishment procedure in which change agent holds immobile the part of the client’s body that is involved in the behavior. Eg - Person is hitting another. Physically restrain person by grabbing arms.

Eg of response blocking- Person keeps eating, block mouth.
