What did the USSR want with Poland?
A
A Fully Communist country to act as their buffer border zone. This meant it had to be run by Communists.

What did the UK want with Poland?
A
They wanted to see it ran by a Capitalist Government once Germany was pushed out. They thought this should happen as they fought for Poland in World War 2.

What was the Tehran Agreement/Conference?
A
It was an agreement that the USSR could take over Poland up to the Curzon line. As Compensation Poland would gain some land West towards Germany.
