What are some of the causes and risk factors of pnemothorax?

A

Chest injuries (Assaults, accidents)

Underlying lung conditions (COPD, cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, asthma)

Ruptered air blisters (blebs on top of lung burst)

Mechanical ventilation (people who need assistant to breathing–ventilator cause imbalance of air pressure)

Risk factors:
