A

Newton’s third law applies to pairs of objects
The earth is exerting force of gravity on person and the reaction is the force of gravity that the person exerts upward on the earth
WRONG TO SAY THAT THE REACTION FORCE IS THE NORMAL FORCE (two force acting on the same thing cannot be action-reaction pair, bc action reaction pair are forces acting on two separate objects)
Action-reaction pairs never cancel out bc they don’t act upon the same object
