Philosophy
-Lowest kind of knowledge that lacks any proof or grounding or proper justification
Opinion (Doxa)
-Is the knowledge of the means end of objects
-Knowledge of how things are made or done
-Inherent in skills to produce something
-Ex. Driving
Technical Knowledge (Techne)
-Is the kind of knowledge that has grounded or justified assertions
-Knowledge of the principles that govern things
-Finds the different scientific domains ranging from physics to geology, psychology to economics, etc
-Know the cause of a thing
Scientific Knowledge (Episteme)
-Is the highest of all knowledge as it is the “most finished of the forms of knowledge” (Aristotle)
-Self-awareness
-Judge correctly and find right course of action
-It is the knowledge of first principles

Wisdom (Sophia)
-Analytical and critical reflection and assumption reality
-Which maximizes information and/or established relevant facts, values and beliefs in order to look at reality’s bigger picture
-Bigger picture of everything
-We stop judging people for being themselves
-A practice of viewing someone as a sum of physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual forms
Holistic Perspective
-It is a naïve opinion or assumption reality
-Is based on mere observations, or sense experiences
-Does not view the idea completely or as a whole
Partial Perspective
-Study of the nature of reality or beings as such which includes what exists in the world, what it is like, and how it is ordered
-Why do we exist? What created us?
-Ttime, motion, change, being, essence, nature, operation, quality, transcendence, etc.
Metaphysics
-Study of the scope and nature of knowledge
-Primarily concerned with what we can know about the world
-How can we know it and how do we know it
-Truth, validity, certitude/certainty, knowing process, idea, mind, etc
Epistemology
-This frames the way man thinks how he does things
-Study of values
-Examines which things are good and what it means for something to be good
Value Theory
-Studies and evaluates human conduct
-It often concerns what we ought to do and what it would be best to do
-In struggling with this issue, larger questions about what is good and right arise
-Moral, rightness, human acts, freedom, responsibility, conscience, etc
Ethics
-Study of the nature of beauty and of art
-Symmetry, balance, harmony, measure, etc
Aesthetics
-Everything is what it is
Principle of Identity
-It is impossible for a thing to be and not to be at the same time
Principle of Non-Contradiction
-There is no middle ground possible
Principle of Excluded Middle
