mast cell detects invaders & releases histamine + heparin
Vessels dialte
Phag. go to engulf

Q
phagocytes - where can they be found?
A
circulates in blood and can move into body tissue
5
Q
What is the “body part” called when pathogens are engulfed

pseudopodia
6
Q
Explain the process of when a bacteria is engulfed

Lysosome fuses with vesicle (holds engulfed pathogen) and turnes into phagolysosome
Meaning –> digest and destroy
Bring to surface to form anti-body
