2 types of aids?
Rapid: onset in first year / dead by 4
Slower: onset in preschool-k
Developmental motor signs??
Tonal abnormalities (low trunk/high extremity)similar to CP Postural patterns (LE abd— poor balance)
Delays in fine motor/ind sitting/ walking coordinated mvmt
Issues with Peds aids?
Parents prolly sick so cant stim child
Want to stay confidential
Poor nutrition
Tx of peds aids
Similar to CP BUT
Progressive so they get worse so u wanna delay..
Meds not really effective.
