Give 5 knowledge points of operant conditioning:
Trial and error Strengthening S-R bond Weaken S-R bond (undesirable behaviour) Association Reinforcement-positive, negative, punishment

Law of effects- response of the performer depends on the action of the instructor
Law of exercise- repetition practice leads to improvement
Law of readiness- the physical and mental capacity to perform a skill
What does positive reinforcement do to an individual?
Positive- strengthens S-R bond
What does negative reinforcement do to an individual?
Weakens the S-R bond, then strengthens it, due to the withdrawal of an unpleasant stimulus
What does punishment reinforcement do to an individual?
Weakens S-R bond due to unpleasant stimulus
What’s a positive of operant conditioning?
Simple, works with some skills
What’s a negative of operant conditioning?
Multiple responses, hard to match the stimulus to a response
