Create exceptions - you can allow some exceptions to what the antivirus detects if you are sure that it is not a threat. Be careful!

Check Event Viewer for potential issues
Example: Right-Click on the Start Icon > Event Viewer > Windows Logs
Configure notification settings
Example: Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Open Windows Security > Settings > Notifications > Manage Notifications
What to do if you get OS update failures?
Verify network connections
Check for incorrect Windows Update Settings
