System instability
If you’re experience system issues, you should:
Reboot.
Restore.
Example: Boot to Windows 10 Installation Media > Repair your computer > Troubleshoot > System Restore.
Reimage.
Example: Boot to Windows 10 Installation Media > Repair your computer > Troubleshoot > System Image Recovery.
No OS found
If your operating system isn’t recognized by your device, you need to run Windows Repair:
Example: Boot to Windows 10 Installation Media > Repair your computer > Troubleshoot > Startup Repair.
Time drift
If you experience time drift, which is where your computer’s time doesn’t match an authoritative time, such as <https://www.time.gov/), you should:
Configure your automatic time synchronization:
Example: Settings > Time & Language > Date & Time.
Check your Windows Time Service:
Disabled in an Active Directory Domain Service (AD DS) environment.
Example: Right-click the Start icon to activate the context menu, and then select Computer Management, select Services, and then select Windows Time.
Rejoin your computer to the applicable domain:
Example Step 1 (domain computers only): Settings > System > About > Rename this PC (advanced) Change > Choose Workgroup, and then enter WORKGROUP. Select OK twice, and then restart your computer.
Example Step 2 (domain computers only): Settings > System > About > Rename this PC (advanced) Change > Choose Domain, and then enter practicelabs.com. Select OK, enter your admin password, select Enter, select OK three times, and then reboot your system.
Slow profile load
If you experience a profile that loads slowly, rebuild your Windows profiles.
