Papule — slightly elevated, small skin induration (< 1cm)

Tumor — Nodule > 5cm (SCC)
Vesicle
Bullae

Vesicle — Fluid filled elevation of skin (< 1cm in diameter)
Bullae — Vesicle (> 1 cm)
Pustule — Vesicle filled w/ PUS (Impetigo)
Epidermal defect (Syphilitic chancre)

Skin defect covered w/ Dried blood or plasma (Healing wounds)

Superficial skin defect from scratching

Sharp-edged defect into deeper layers (Athlete’s foot)

Elevated itchy, transient lesion w/ erythema (Insect bite)

Skin flakes easily removed by scraping (Seborrheic Dermatitis)
