Hyper - increased thickness of keratin
Parakeratosis - persistence of nuclei in keratin layer
Acanthosis - increased thickness of epithelium
Papillomatosis - irregular epithelial thickening
Spongiosis - oedema fluid between squamous - increase prominence of intercellular prickles
