What is a Golgi Body?
It is inside of the cell and its job is to take and distribute protein to other parts of the cell.
What is a Lysosome?
The Lysomsome absorbs all of the extra debris and digests unwanted parts of the cell.
What is the endoplasmic Reticulum?
It is the structure outside of the nucleus. It is like a highway for ribosomes to make protein.
What are Vacuoles?
Vacuoles store food, waste, and other substances for the cell.
What is the Cell Wall?
It is the hard structure around the cell that helps plants keep their shape.
What types of cells are Cell walls found in?
Only plant cells.
What is chloroplast?
The structure where photosynthesis takes place.
Is chloroplast found in animal or plants cells?
Only plant cells.
What is the cell membrane?
It is a controllable gateway that surrounds and protects the insides of the cell.
What is Cytoplasm?
A jelly-like substance that fills the cell and holds the contents inside it. It holds nutrients needed by the cell.
What are Ribosomes?
The Ribosome makes proteins with genetic code.
What is the Nucleus?
Directs all cellular activities such as movements and growth.
What is the Mitochrondria?
Turns sugar into fuel for the cell. They have their own DNA.
What do the cell membrane, Cytoplasm and Nucleus have in common?
They around found in both plant and animal cells.
Where are ribosomes found?
They are found in both plant and animal cells.
