What are the 3 sections of government?
Executive, Legislative, Judicial.
What are these 3 sections’ purposes and who are they?
Executive:
• The President, Deputy President and the Cabinet Ministers (according to Ryan it’s the Cabinet Of Ministers…)
•They run the country.
Legislative
•Members of Parliament
•Make the laws
Judicial
•The courts
• They make sure that all laws and rules are obeyed.
What are the 3 levels of government?
Provincial, Local and National government.
What are the 3 levels of governments’ purposes/jobs?
Provincial-To deal with things that affect our own province.
Local-To deal with things that affect our own municipality.
National-To deal with things that affect the whole nation.
Who chooses the members of parliament?
The citizens of the country.
What is the National Legislature (legislative)?
Parliament
What 2 groups is parliament made up of?
National Assembly, National Council of Province.
How many people are there in the National Assembly?
350-500 people
How many people are there in the National Council of Province?
90 people, 10 for each province.
What does the National Council of Province do?
They make sure that every province is represented when laws are made for the whole country.
