Wundt-Jastrow Illusion
size illusion- two identical curves appear to be different sizes, same sensation but different perception
Bisection Illusion
relative height, one line interrupts another, interrupted line appears shorter
Muller Lyer Illusion
identical lines appear different lengths, b/c of depth and tail ends
Subliminal perception
below the threshold for conscious recognition (ex. messages in songs)

Phi phenomenon
perceptual illusion that tricks your eyes into thinking still images are actually moving
Stroboscopic movement
visual phenomenon in which viewing a series of slightly varying pictures in rapid succession produces the effect of continuous movement
