Voyeuristic Disorder

Answer 1

A: Over a period of at least 6 months, recurrent & intense sexual arousal from observing an unsuspecting person who is naked, in the process of disrobing, or engaging in sexual activity, as manifested by fantasies urges or behaviors
B: The individual has acted on these sexual urges w/ a nonconsenting person or the sexual urges or fantasies cause significant distress or impairment
C: The individual experiencing the arousal and/or acting on the urges is at least 18
Specify If:
In a controlled environment: applied to individuals living in institutional or other settings where opportunities are restricted
In full remission: the individual has not acted on the urges & there has been no distress or impairment for at least 5 years

Question 2

Exhibitionistic Disorder

Answer 2

A: Over a period of at least 6 months, recurrent & intense sexual arousal from the exposure of one’s genitals to an unsuspecting person, as manifested by fantasies, urges or behaviors
B: The individual has acted on these sexual urges w/ a nonconsenting person, or the sexual urgers or fantasies cause significant distress or impairment
Specify whether:
Sexually aroused by exposing genitals to prepubertal children
Sexually aroused by exposing genitals to physically mature individuals
Sexually aroused by exposing genitals to prepubertal children & to physically mature individuals
In a controlled environment
In full remission

Question 3

Frotteuristic Disorder

Answer 3

A: Over a period of at least 6 months, recurrent & intense sexual arousal from touching or rubbing against a nonconsenting person, as manifested by fantasies, urges or behaviors
B: The individual has acted on these sexual urges w/ a nonconsenting person, or the sexual urges or fantasies cause significant distress or impairment
Specify If:
In a controlled environment
In full remission

Question 4

Sexual Sadism Disorder

Answer 4

A: Over a period of at least 6 months, recurrent & intense sexual arousal from the physical or psychological suffering of another person, as manifested by fantasies, urges or behaviors
B: The individual has acted on these urges w/ a nonconsenting person or the urges or fantasies cause significant distress or impairment
Specify If:
In a controlled environment
In full remission

Question 5

Pedophilic Disorder

Answer 5

A: Over a period of at least 6 months, recurrent, intense sexually arousing fantasies, sexual urges or behaviors involving sexual activity w/ a prepubescent child (generally 13 years or younger)
B: The individual has acted on these urges or the urges or fantasies cause marked distress or interpersonal difficulty
C: The individual is at least age 16 & at least 5 years old than the victim in Criterion A
Note: do not include an individual in late adolescence involved in an ongoing sexual relationship with a 12 or 13 year old
