The god of the sun and in his light he also created other gods. He looked like a falcon.

What did the priests do?
They prayed for a big harvest or luck in love or a war

The priests, because the gods didn’t use it. The priests used the gold and food to build huge temples
Who was the wise god Osiris?
The son of the god Ra, he would become king of the gods.
What did Set, Osiris brother do because he was jealous?
Murdered him and cut his body into pieces and spread the body parts around all the corners of Egypt
What did iris do when she heard what set did?
She found all the body parts and put them back together to mummify his body.
What became Osiris after what iris did.

What believed the Egyptians when they died…
They had to ask Osiris for the entrance to the paradise where gods lived.
Why was it not easy to go to the paradise where gods lived.
The dead had to travel trough the underworld, face terrible monsters and repeat difficult spells.

What happened to a pharaoh when he died?
He would be mummified.

Removing the brains via the nose

One side of the body was open and the organs were taken out (except for the heart) and they were put in jars
What was the third step when you will be mummified?
The body was washed and laid in salt
What was the last step of the mummified?
The pharaoh was wrapped in cloth and put in a sarcophagus.
What did they do after several ceremonies?
They filled his grave with gifts.
