Why did the farmers grew their crops there with the silt
Because it is really fertile

It leaves pools of water and fertile ground so farmers can grow their crops.
What is irrigation?
Digging smal canals to spread water further inland.
What happened thanks to irrigation?
Water could flow to areas that were dry before so it turned into fertile land
Why did farmers trade their food with each other.
Farmers were able to produce more food than they could it because of irrigation.
