What can you send by post

Any notice required to be given (e.g. by the UKIPO) and any application or other documents required to be filed (e.g. by the applicant) can be sent by post
When is the notification for a UKIPO letter
The date on which it was posted (no 10 day rule)
What should you do if sending things by post
Use registered mail, as date stamps are not always legible in the event of a dispute or wishing the use R111
What happens if you have a delay in sending documents to the UKIPO
R111
(1) The comptroller shall extend ANY period of time specified in the Act or Rules when satisfied threat the failure to meet a deadline was wholly or mainly attributable to a delay or failure of ac communication service
What type of communication does R111 delays apply to
Any communication, post, courier email etc
How is an extension due to a delay made
R111(2)
a) after notifying the parties concerned, and
b) subject to any conditions directed by the Comptroller
