A
Indicated by SPO2 of 85-91%
Treatment:
o2 titrated to 92-96%
- 2-6L via nasal cannula
- hudson mask 5-10 L

A
Indicated by SPO2 <85
Treatment:
- Initial dose of 10-15L via non-rebreather
- If pt deteriorates or reminas below 85% consider BVM or SGA

A
cardiac arrest or resuscitation major trauma/head injury shock severe sepsis anaphylaxis status epilepticus ketamine sedation

What conditions fall under chronic hypoxaemia and what is the treatment?
A
conditions:
- COPD
- Neuromuscular disorders
- Cystic fibrosis
- Bronchiectasis
- Severe Kyphoscoliosis
- Obesity
treatment:
titrate flow to SPO@ of 88-92%
If pt deteriorates or remains below 85% treat at severe
