What are the s/s of acetaminophen OD and treatment
N/V, RUQ pain, Hepatotoxicity
Activated charcoal and Acetyl cystine (Mucomyst)
Insecticide OD /s and treatment
S/S: N/V, cramping, diarrhea, excessive salivation, meiosis, blurred vision, bradycardia, AMS
TX: Wash skin, activated charcoal, atropine
Antidepressant OD s/s and treatment
S/s: Confusion, hallucination, urinary retention, hypotension, tachycardia, hypothermia
Tx: Activated charcoal, sodium bicarb, benzos, dantrolene (Serotonin syndrome: dantrolene, klonopin,cooling blankets)
Opioid OD s/s and tx
S/s: Relaxed euphoria, drowsiness, bradypnea, myosis that eventually turns to mydriasis d/t sympathomimetic toxicity
Tx: activated charcoal, narcan, naloxone, Emetics are CONTRAINDICATED
Benzo OD s/s and TX
S/s: relaxed euphoria
Tx: Respiratory and BP support, romazacon(Flumaxzenil), activated charcoal
Ethylene glycol s/s and tx
S/s: loss of coordination, HA, slurred speech, n/v, shallow breathing, change in BP, renal failure
Tx: Promepazole

Obtain a history
Signs and symptoms and treatment of Aspirin toxicity (Salicylate)
S/s: Tinnitis, dizziness, headache, hyperthermia, elevated LFTs, metabolic acidosis
Treatment: Charcoal, Sodium Bicarb in severe acidosis
Treatment for a BB toxicity
Glucagon and atropine
