Cut one end (i.e. proximal or distal) straight and the other slanted (keep the same for all cuttings)

Why don’t you want to put succulent cuttings directly in media?

A

They hold so much moisture, they tend to rot. It’s better to leave them out for ~24 hours to let a callus form first
