Sub-inventory is closed at 23:59 automatically on the day there was the change and open new sub-inventory at 00:00. Remaining stock of the closed sub-inventory recorded as beginning stock of the new sub-inventory.

After Sub-inventory was closed, you cannot edit but you can edit opened sub-inventory and adjust differences

A

We recommend company phones, due to avoid some inconvenience below.

Reason1: SENRI has some requirements

  • SENRI requires android version of 6.0* at least and recommends above 8
  • ROM 16GB above
  • RAM 4GB above
  • Android OS usually requires 10% HDD availability to sync data, so if Field Staff uses private phone, HDD could be full with their private photo or video.
  • Run with google play services *Huawei may not run with it.

Reason2: Further restrictions are possible

  • In case you want to control device like force GPS always on or restrict usage of mobile data bundle to SENRI, MDM is required.

Reason3: GPS accuracy

  • GPS accuracy is not very good with some phones. It is usually depending on device and brands and we usually recommend Samsung phones.
  • Here is data based on SENRI’s actual GPS information of 300,000 and it indicates that TECNO phone (2.4%) has 6 times of GPS information with more than 1km inaccuracy than Samsung phone (0.4%).

In company settings, SENRI can only force GPS on when Field Staff creates record and customer registration but not always. This is Google policy that mobile app cannot force GPS on at all time. However, we observe some MDM is possible to lock GPS settings so please install MDM separately. If FS uses private smartphone, it may be difficult to agree installation of MDM.

  1. You need to explain SENRI has many settings for each functions so that it can fit to client’s operation.
    When you hear the word of “customization”, you may remind of something requiring development. However from the eyes of manager, need of development does not matter for them and what they want is if SENRI can fit with their operation and change in tier name or additional questions of customer may be customization from its perspective.
  2. We have engineer team in Japan and basically open for development. When it’s critical, we usually develop in 3-4months after we have got request.

-Field staff moves very fast (more than 60km/h)

1097 FS is saying SENRI is draining battery so battery does not last. Is it possible?

A

If smartphone is only for SENRI, battery can last for approximately 2 days. FS may misunderstand it because some android phones notify FS the app using battery most except for google apps.
This notification is inevitable when we track FS at all time and the app syncs automatically every 30 minutes but still it can last at least 1 day.
For someone having 1week trip to rural area, buying battery bank may be recommended.

It is possible, but it has 20% inaccuracy in calculation. Since we calculate this based on the distance of GPS blue dots, it may not able to capture curving movement well.

c) FS needs to receive data before they sell. But if there are issues in internet connectivity, they fail to receive data

1187 How can I use SENRI to monitor the stock held by distributor or supermarket?

A

Case 1: Use merchandising report to collect stock by field staff. Maybe you cannot track stock everyday since field staff will not visit every day but you do not need to train and enforce distributor to work with.

Case 2: If you give SENRI web account to distributor, you can ask distributor to upload their stock by csv file to main inventory function but it may only work when distributor use other SENRI functions as well. We have no past experience that distributor upload stock every day as manufacturer requested. It’s always difficult to enforce them.

Admin Console > Administration > Page Access Settings
You can change the authoriyu as below;
- “Can Manage” (default for manager) : Users can access the page and do everything
- “Can View” (default for leader): Users can access the page and export the data but cannot create, edit and import data.
- “No, access” : Users cannot access the page.

*If there is only one Manager, Pace Access Settings doesn’t shows up on Admin Console.

SENRI has 3 types of promotion rules by the size of purchase, which called price scheme.

3. Click Price Scheme under the Edit SKU

<Promotion>
1. Free sample
e.g. Buy 2 quantity and give 3 quantity of free sample. It is multiplied when 4 quantity bought.

2. Discount rate %
e.g. Buy 2 quantity and give 25% discount. It is not multiplied when 4 quantity bought because it will reach to 100% in the end.

3. Discount fixed
e.g. Buy 2 quantity and give 10USD discount. It is not multiplied when 4 quantity bought.

A

How to set items
Company item list has list of either category, product and SKU (herein call as items) which you want to list.
Each item can have different criteria for alert functions like low stock. Import and export functions are available.
Required field
You can also make each item required, but you cannot set different required settings in the same items in the different questions.
One item has one required settings so if you make product A required, it will be required for all active questions i.e. stock, SOS, retail price etc…
Levels of item for each type of questions
In merchandising questionnaires settings, you can decide if FS answer each type of question like stock, retail price with levels of item including category, product, SKU.

Usually visualization reduce the amount of information include and most of customer request visualization only before start using and do not do it while using.
Besides, effective visualization is varied between companies so we will achieve with GDS.

A

It may happens to B2B industry clients who match the below condition.

a) Deal with product with high levels of flexibility.
For example, kitchen is customized to each customers. Field staff need to agree height, width or the number of gas individually but SENRI order taking functions may not fit to their way of order taking.

For example, label for bottle is also customized to each customers. Field staff need to agree design with graphics. Those people often use design tool as order taking system.

b) The number of daily orders and frequency of orders are not high

Simply speaking, if you have to deal with high number of orders, more mistakes happen and orders tend to delay so value of using order taking make high but if not value may go below. It rarely happens to FMCG customers but B2B industry.

c) Speed from order to delivery are not very important

If you deal with highly commoditized products, speed matters and it can be competitors advantages.
However if you deal with less commoditized products, it matters but not so much as FMCG.

It does not means we cannot sell SENRI to them but need to emphasize value in addition to order taking functions.

c) For some customers especially with distance travels, they want to calculate transportation cost in advance

A

Those doesn’t include the amount for the current month.
For example, on September, Sales Last 3 month includes the sales amount for June, July and August.
Also, to avoid calculating data every time page is opened, the data is only updated on 1st and 7th of each month and may not be up-to-date until then.
This applies to customer detail on both web and app when “View sales data made by others on mobile app” settings is Allowed.

There are some possibilities.
1.Price is 0
2.Price is not assigned to tier of that customer
3.Product category is not assigned to Field Staff
4. The SKU is not loaded in Sub-inventory

<In the case of 1 and 2>
1. Admin Console > Service Setting section > Sales > Products and SKUs
2. Click the name of SKUs
3. Click Price Settings under the Edit SKU
4. Set Price at the Default Section

<In the case of 3>
1. Admin Console > User setting section > Users
2. Click the dot on the right side and Assign Item Categories.
3. You can check the items which you want to assign
