1013 Can I check if field staff login to SENRI with multiple device?

A

Yes, it’s possible to check,
If Field Staff is using an app with v8.6 or higher, the name of the device being used is displayed in Usage History. However, if the device name cannot be acquired due to device specifications, it will not be displayed. In that case, there are two way to check.

By Login token
- Check login token in Usage History of Manager page or User Usage of CS page.
- Login token is code issuing when field staff login to account which will be the same till clearing data.
- User usage of CS page shows login token of each sync, If there are the multiple login token existing at the same time, field staff are highly probably logging in by multiple devices.
- When Field Staff clear the data and login again, login token will be changed. So when there are different token, please check if only new token is existing after changed or not. If only new token is existing, it might mean Field Staff clear data.

By GPS
- The situation when we doubt multiple device is GPS dots are seriously hanging.

1014 Can multiple users share one account?

  • Okay but need to have different account to set page access settings or different roles

App

It is possible but not recommend.

As exception, some van sales field staff are using one account when multiple persons are always together. It may be good because you want to manage single sub-inventory in team but please note that activities cannot be separated.

1018 Can I check if web users login to SENRI with private devices?

  • If your company has fixed IP, you can check different remote IP in Usage History.
  • Usage history also shows device and browsers so it may help.

A

No, you cannot login to mobile app with login credential of web users.

1020 Can I access to web app with any device?

A

Yes but it may be difficult to read because some pages of SENRI is not designed to be displayed on mobile devices.

1033 Why is buying company phone recommended?

A

We recommend company phones, due to avoid some inconvenience below.

Reason1: SENRI has some requirements

  • SENRI requires android version of 5.0* at least and recommends above 8
  • ROM 16GB above
  • RAM 4GB above
  • Android OS usually requires 10% HDD availability to sync data, so if Field Staff uses private phone, HDD could be full with their private photo or video.
  • Run with google play services *Huawei may not run with it.

*Minimum requirement will be increased in the following schedule;
At end of Jun 2022: Requires 6.0.0 and above

Reason2: Further restrictions are possible

  • In case you want to control device like force GPS always on or restrict usage of mobile data bundle to SENRI, MDM is required.

Reason3: GPS accuracy

  • GPS accuracy is not very good with some phones. It is usually depending on device and brands and we usually recommend Samsung phones.
  • Here is data based on SENRI’s actual GPS information of 300,000 and it indicates that TECNO phone (2.4%) has 6 times of GPS information with more than 1km inaccuracy than Samsung phone (0.4%).

1034 What is the requirement of mobile phone?

  • Android 5.0* above at least but above 8 is recommended
  • ROM 16GB above
  • RAM 4GB above
  • Run with google play services

  • Majority of users in Asia and Africa still use Android OS.
  • From perspectives of development, making iOS version is not something like copy and paste of source code. We need millions$ to invest for creating from scratch.

A

If Field Staff has registered and confirmed their email address, password can be reset by email. If email address is not registered or confirmed, Field staff needs to contact to managers or CS team and reset password.

1147 What Super company can do?

A

It is good to set Super company when Manager observes several companies. By switch company button, he can easily moves back and forth between SENRI accounts of multiple companies. However, there is no dashboard to see all companies in one place.

Settings in CS page

  • Go to Super Company List
  • Create New Super Company
  • Assign companies to belong to the super company
  • Set user who can move back and forth between companies

A

Retention period might be set by Manager.

If it’s not set, please update the app to the latest version.

1052 FS is unable to install app on his phone

A
  • The phone might have the setting which restrict to download the app not distributed through Google Play.
  • HDD storage is not enough to download the app. It should have more than 10%.
  • Debug mode should not be enabled: disabling the developer options and USB debugging in device settings

1102 Why isn’t SENRI on play store?

A

If SENRI is on play store, it requires assessment and examination every time new version of SENRI is released.
As a result, it is difficult for us to do urgent release when there are technical bugs.
On the other hand, there are a few benefits to be open at play store for service like SENRI i.e. the app distributed to only contracted users.

1134 Can SENRI be customised for each customers?

  1. You need to explain SENRI has many settings for each functions so that it can fit to client’s operation. When you hear the word of “customisation”, you may remind of something requiring development. However from the eyes of manager, need of development does not matter for them and what they want is if SENRI can fit with their operation and change in tier name or additional questions of customer may be customisation from its perspective.
  2. We have engineer team in Japan and basically open for development. When it’s critical, we usually develop in 3-4months after we have got request.

1149 What are server, database and UI spec of SENRI?

  • Run in Amazon Web Services (AWS).-For server, use EC2 with Elastic Beanstalk.
    -For DB server, run with RDS. At the time of high load, use Auto Scaling.
    -For development, we use different server.
    *Database supported PostgreSQL 12 and later
    *Programming languages on web are Javascript and Ruby on Rails
    *Programming language on mobile is Kotlin
    *Methods of integration are import/export csv and JSON API
    *Security: Data Encryped / Secured Connection
    *Web user interface is Web based User Interface (HTML with Javascript) and Touch Based User Interface (TUI)

1194 We have different subsidiaries with each having its own currency. How does the SENRI handle that?

A

SENRI supports 10 currencies and timezone.
Client needs to separate account but we can create single dashboard with GDS if need.

Q

1213 I have 3 distributors and assign 3 field staff each to one distributor. Should I use super company functions to manage them?

A

If you use super company functions, you cannot have single dashboard to view figures and if any changes in product price or customer settings, you have to change one by one so we do not recommend super company functions if you do not fulfil below.

a) Price settings and customer settings like tier etc are completely different.
SENRI can have 30 price settings and tier for 1 SKU at maximum so if those are completely different, we cannot achieve it.

b) Distributor wants to manage sales activity for other brand.
When distributor is not exclusive for one brand and they want to manage other brand sales activities, we are better to separate account for compliance.

c) Currency or timezone is different and they do not want use single currency and timezone.
d) You want to integrate ERP of each distributors.
e) The number of distributors is very high for example more than 10 and it feels hard to manage with one company.

It’s not must but if you want to manage sales of both manufacturer-distributor and distributor-retailers in SENRI, sales amount in SENRI will be doubled but we can fix it with GDS.

On the other hand, if one field staff manages multiple distributors, those those distributors may better to be managed as one company.

1234 What are the password requirements?

A

To improve the security for all SENRI users, we updated password policy at 20 December 2022.

New Password policy:
Your new password must contain
- At least 8 characters
- 1 letter (A-Z or a-z)
- 1 number (0-9)

How to update:
Web user can change his own password and password of Field Staff from the menu in User list.
If password would not be changed by 20 January 2023, change password page will be shown when log in.

Mobile app users can change password in the settings. When updating to version 7.6, change password page will be shown every time the app is launched until password is changed.

When you forgot password:
If email address is registered and confirmed, password can be reset by email.
If email address has not been registered or confirmed, password reset by email is not available.

If password reset is not available, web users can contact to Customer Support and app Users can contact to manager or Customer Support. To avoid it, we recommend all users to set and confirm email address.

A

Recommended operating environment is Chrome.
Deprecated operating environment are below;
- FireFox
- Microsoft Edge
- Safari

1258 What should I do if I have problem logging in to SENRI web??

A

If web user cannot login to SENRI web, here are possible reasons

1) The company associated with the user’s account has been deleted. Please check if the company is active in Company list.
2) The user’s account has been deleted. Please check the user list.
3) The user is registered as Staff. Please check the user list.
4) The password is incorrect. Please change it from the user list.
5)Two-factor authentication (2FA) is required, but it has not been set up. Please check the user list for the 2FA settings.
6) Super User is not assigned to login user. Please go to the Super Company List and link the Super User with the login user.

A

This is for cases when client will develop ERP integration on their own engineering workload.
Please contact with your PIC about “ERP modules” to request SERNI to develop ERP integration.
