Who requires pharmacological anticoagulation for gynaecological surgeries?

A

Patients undergoing major gynaecological surgeries >60 mins regardless of operative route, routine pneumatic compression during operation is recommended.

Undergoing minor or intermediate operations (<60 mins), thromboprophylaxis is not required.
