Superlative of superiority

Superiority
The administrative assistant ordered the newest printer on the market.
Superlative of inferiority
L’adjoint administratif a commandé l’imprimante la moins chère.
Inferiority
The administrative assistant ordered the cheapest printer.
When the adjective precedes the noun, the superlative precedes as well.

Je voudrais un beau fauteuil ergonomique.
Je voudrais le plus beau fauteuil ergonomique
I would like a nice ergonomic chair
I would like the nicest ergonomic chair
When the adjective follows the noun, the superlative follows as well.
follow
C’est une tâche difficile.
C’est la tâche la plus difficile de ma carrière.
It is a difficult task.
It is the most difficult task of my career.
The comparison may be completed by adding de + noun, que + verb or qui + verb to the superlative
de + noun, que + verb or qui + verb
C’est la version la plus récente du document.
C’est la version la plus récente du document qu’on peut consulter.
It is the most recent version of the document
It is the most recent version of the document that we can consult.
C’est la version la plus récente du document qui est en ligne.
It is the most recent version of the document which is online.
Verbs that follow a superlative are in the Subjunctive mood. The subjuntive is used for a statement which is not necessarily based on facts
C’est l’imploi le plus payment que tu puisses occuper à l’heure actuelle.
It is the best paying job you could have at present
If the statement is indeed based on facts, the indicative mood is used
C’est l’imploi le plus payant que tu peux occper dans la catégorie AS
It is the best paying job you can have in the AS category
