If Seizure Occurred..

A
  • Place in left lateral decubitus Position
  • O2 via NRB (escalate airway management as needed)
  • Administer Mag Drip (5g in 100mL
    NS) over 15 minutes

  • O2 via NRB (escalate airway management as needed)

Actions after Seizure is managed & Initially addressing any other Complaint..

A
  • 1st Assess FSBG
  • Provide Supplemental O2 alongside Pulse Ox
  • Place in left lateral decubitus (Shock/Orthostasis)
  • Consider IV/IO & Cardiac monitor
  • Administer 20 mL/kg NS/LR fluid bolus as needed
  • Consider other AG’s (GI/Nausea, Hypoglycemia, Shock)
  • Ongoing Monitoring & Reassessment of VS
  • Transport to Appropriate Facility
