Certain teeth are affected by nursing bottle caries, why?
A
The lower incisors are not affected as they are protected by the tongue when the child consumes the liquid out their bottle
The upper incisors are the first affected as they are normally the first to erupt
Then the primary molars are the next affected due to the eruption sequence of primary teeth
Unless the habit is stopped it slowly affects all the erupted teeth
