Physical and emtional health
Social development
Cognitive development
Managing dental neglect
Observe childs behaviour and injuries
Record conversations and findings in patient notes
Communication with child and parent to talk about injuries
Discuss with Child Protection Advisor who may refer to lead paeds or social services
May need to involve multi-agency management to see if other profesionals share the same concern for the child - inform health visitor
May need child protection referral
