What are the rules about ordinal numbers?

A

They must agree with the noun that follows them.

Primero + tercero drop the final ‘o’ before a masculine singular noun.

A

Up to 10, then cardinal numbers tend to replace them. Also used for kings + queens up to tenth when spoken but roman numerals used when written down.
