What are pyrimidines and purines?

A

They’re both nitrogenous bases that are what make up part of the monomers of nucleotides, the building blocks of nucleic acids. Pyrimidines are single ringed structure and purines are double ring structure.

Describe DNA and RNA

A

Deoxyribonucleic acid and Ribonucleic acid. Sugars are Deoxyribose for DNA and ribose for RNA. DNA has a double helix while RNA has single one.
