  • dyspepsia/heartburn
  • epigastric pain
  • nausea
  • GI ulceration**
  • increased risk of thrombotic events**
  • nephrotoxicity**

Nursing implications

A
  • give food and water
  • increase fluids**
  • reports s/s of GI bleed (vomit and poop)
  • dilute if IV
  • do not exceed 3200mg daily
