A

A homeopathically prepared remedy made from an infectious disease product either directly from the bacteria or virus, or less directly from a tissue purported to contain it to prevent disease.

  1. 1997 Study murine model exposed Francisella tularensis –> reduced time to death, modest decreased mortality
  2. Cohort study Leptospirosis epidemic Cuba –> reduced infection rates?
  3. Animal studies Plasmodium berghei –> longer survival time
  4. Cochrane review avian sarcode from healthy duck liver for prevention and treatment of influenza –> low quality evidence support efficacy
