What are the recommendations for safe sleep?
A
- Back to sleep for every sleep
- Preventing exposure to cigarette smoke
- Sleep in a crib, cradle, or bassinet that meets current Canadian regulations
- Only a fitted sheet and firm mattress should be in the sleeping area
- Place to sleep in a fitted one-piece sleepwear
- Do not sleep in swings, carseats, or high chairs
- Room sharing is protective
- Do not bed share
- Breastfeeding is protective
- Pacifiers for every sleep can be protective
