Q

If told to hold while midway through a holding-pattern course reversal prior to an instrument approach… how do you suspend auto-sequencing of your flight plan and remain in the hold?

A

Re: the G1000NXi, would hit “suspend” after entering the hold point. The magenta line should shift to a hold pattern in lieu of a sequence to next way point pattern. (It willl “suspend” the approach.)
